About Us
Blog Toowoomba is an initiative of Internet Business Design with the intention of providing a free service to assist local businesses gain increased exposure for their products and services.
Whilst IBD is based in Toowoomba, more than 80% of our clientsare from outside the Toowoomba region where we provide support and services in every state of Australia.
With our early aim of taking the technology and mystery out of Internet publishing and of providing clients with the ability to directly publish and control their own sites we set out in 1999 to develop easy to use systems which would permit this for the simplest to the most complex web presence. These systems today are referred to as content management systems (CMS).
IBD's ProActive CMS has evolved and grown to become a service which is not only a comprehensive web and content management system, it is a system which gives infinite control over viewing access, creation and editing rights demanded in todays business world. ProActive provides these levels of integration as well as incorporating an infinite scope for customisation to bring a co-ordinated single point of management for document and content storage and document and content dissemination control and delivery which is second to none.
Since our inception in 1994 when we developed systems for the freight and other industries as well as providing training in the then new world of the Internet under the name of JB.com we were then Toowoomba's first web development company. Today Internet Business Design provides not only a comprehensive range of high end content and document management systems as SAS (software-as-a-service), we also provide high volume easy to operate and manage content management and shopping systems at low cost for small businesses and individuals as well as custom built Intranet solutions.
Today our services and ProActive systems are utilised by a diverse range of enterprises from high demand research organisations and high volume dealerships through to small business and individual enterprises.
In November 2005 IBD decided to increase its local profile by providing local businesses with easy access to proactive web promotion and business orientated systems, hence Blog Toowoomba and Toowoomba Press Releases.
Both Blog Toowoomba and Toowoomba Press Releases are provided as free services open to all businesses in the Toowoomba region.
